WONDERFUL ANTIQUE FRENCH DOUBLE DOOR ARMOIRE - C1900 ROCOCO STYLE

Excellent quality antique French double door armoire c1900 is made of walnut with a parquetry veneer
which has a rich patina. In the rococo style with carved decorative top featuring a
wonderful carved shell, scrolls and flowers and leaves,
with additional carving to the sides. There is carving to the base with a flower motif,
there are carved leaves on the legs and 'escargot' feet.
The curved doors have the original bevelled glass which is in very good condition for its age.
There is a decorative metal lock along with brass hinges. The interior consists of adjustable shelves
and two drawers – hanging rails can be fitted from front to back if required.
There are a few old woodworm holes - long since gone and the armoire has been fully treated with
a woodworm preventative as a precaution. There are a few minor knocks in keeping with its age
but the overall condition is excellent.

The external dimensions are 97" (247cms) tall (please check ceiling height)
x 53" inches (134cms) wide x 22 inches (56cms) deep.
