SUPERB ANTIQUE FRENCH COMPACTUM WARDROBE / ARMOIRE - C1920 LOUIS XVI STYLE

This wonderful and very decorative antique French in solid oak compatum wardrobe / armoire dates from around 1920
and is in the Lous XVI style. It has been prepared and handpainted in Farrow and Ball paint,
lightly distressed and given a soft wax finish. The decorative carved top can be features
scrolls and there are superb carved finials to the corners. The doors have bevelled mirrored glass which is
in very good condition with some speckles and marks as shown which add to the charm.
To the inside a hanging rail has been fitted from front to back behind one of the doors and there are adjustable
shelves behind the other with an additional 3 drawers below. The armoire has been fully treated with a
woodworm preventative as a matter of course and is in excellent strong and sturdy condition with just a
few minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

Measures : Height 93" (237cms) tall - please check your ceiling height x 49 inches (125cms) wide
External depth is 22 1/2 inches (57cms).
