STUNNING 19th CENTURY LARGE OVERMANTLE MIRROR

This is a wonderful, large Victorian overmantle mirror c.1860s,
The frame has been gilded and is surrounded with carved decoration to the edges and a has a
superb crest to the top featuring a carved shell, leaves and scrolls.
There is further carved decoration to the bottom corners featuring flowers leaves and scrolls.
The original mirror has a mercury back plate and original wooden panelled back.
is in very good condition with some minor speckles and spots which is in keeping with a mirror of this age.
The frame is in excellent condition with just minor knocks and bumps.

Frame measures 54" (137.5cms) tall x 62" (157.54cms) wide x approx. 4" (10cms) deep.
