WONDERFUL ANTIQUE FRENCH PAINTED CRESTED MIRROR - c1900

Wonderful antique French painted crested mirror with a gilded frame and silvered highlights.
The frame has a raised decorative pattern with a stunning crested top featuring
a shell with flowers, leaves and scrolls. The original glass has some speckles and foxing as shown
which adds to the charm. The frame is constructed of wood and gesso and
is in superb condition with some minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

Frame measures 57 1/2 inches (146cms) tall x 38 inches (97cms) wide
