STUNNING ANTIQUE FRENCH CRESTED MIRROR c1880

Stunning French antique gilded mirror - c1880. Contructed of wood and gesso the mirror features
a crest to the top with a superbly carved head of a lion, shells leaves, flowers
and scrolls. There is wonderful detailed carving throughout the black and gilded frame.
The mirror retains the original glass mirror which has specklling and foxing commensurate
with age c.1880 - the mirror could be replaced if preferred- please ask for details.

Measures approx. 160cms tall x 93cms wide.
