BEAUTIFUL FRENCH ANTIQUE ROCOCO STYLE DOUBLE DOOR PAINTED ARMOIRE

This beautiful French antique Rococo style double door armoire dates from around 1900
and has been painted in Farrow and Ball 'Lamp Room Gray', lightly distressed and given
a clear waxed finish. There is wonderful decorative carving to top of the armoire
featuring a crest with shells with flowers and leaves. The armoire could either be fitted with mirrors,
clear glass, chicken wire or fabric in the arched double doors.
With brass hinges and locks and carved shaped legs with 'escargot' feet.
The interior is just deep enough to be fitted with a hanging rail across and or shelves
included in the price.
As with all our wooden items it has been treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course. There are a few minor knocks in keeping with its age c1900.

This is a versatile piece of furniture for the bedroom, bathroom or living room storage.

It measures 259cms tall (please check your ceiling height) x 135cms wide x 54cms deep
x 48cms deep inside.
