LARGE FRENCH ANTIQUE DOUBLE DOOR ARMOIRE - HENRI II STYLE

This large French antique double door armoire in the Henri II style dates from c.1900.
The armoire has been painted in Farrow and Ball 'Wimborne White' and has been lightly distressed
and given a soft wax finish. With wonderful carved leaves and birds to the sides and base with finials to the top.
There is further decorative carving tthroughout with repeating patterns.surrounding
the double doors and edges of the armoire which have on ornate brass lock.
The interior is large enough to be fitted with a hanging rail from left to right and / or sheles included in the price.
As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
There are some very minor knocks and bumps but this is in keeping with its age c1900.
