BEAUTIFUL FRENCH ANTIQUE ROCOCO STYLE DOUBLE DOOR PAINTED ARMOIRE

This beautiful French antique Rococo style double door armoire dates from around 1900
and has been painted in Farrow and Ball 'Wimborne White', lightly distressed and given a waxed finish.
There is wonderful decorative carving to the curved crested top of the armoire
featuring a shells with flowers and leaves, with the original bevelled mirrored doors which
are in superb condition with only very minor speckles here and there.
With superb ornate brass hinges and carved 'escargot' feet.
Though the armoire is not quite deep enough to hang clothes
from left to right it can be fitted with a shelf with two rails attached from front to back.
Alternatively its can be fitted with shelves, or a combination of rails and shelving.
There are two useful drawers at the base of the armoire.
As with all our wooden items it has been treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course. There are a few minor knocks in keeping with its age c1900.

This is a versatile piece of furniture for the bedroom, bathroom or living room storage.

It measures 236cms tall (please check your ceiling height) x 141cms wide x 55cms deep
x 41cms deep internal.
