WONDERFUL LARGE ANTIQUE FRENCH LOUIS XVI
PAINTED ARMOIRE / DISPLAY CUPBOARD

This stunning large French antique Louis XVI armoire dates from around 1890.
In the original exterior cream painted finish is now naturally distressed with age. The
interior is in Farrow and Ball 'Lime White' with a dark waxed finish.
Would be ideal for use as a display cupboard, in a bathroom for linen or as an armoire / wardrobe.
Wonderful quality carving featuring a sheild with a ribboned bow
to the top with further decorative carving throughout.
With bevelled glass panels to the side doors which can have shelves fitted.
There are adjustable shelves to the central open front.
As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course. There are some very minor knocks and bumps but this
is in keeping with the age of the armoire - c.1890.
