FABULOUS ANTIQUE FRENCH DOUBLE DOOR ARMOIRE - HENRI II STYLE

This wonderully carved French double door armoire in the Henri II style dates from around 1900.
It has been painted in Farrow and Ball white, lightly distressed and given a soft wax finish.
It has some wonderful decorative features including carved laurel wreath and ribbon bow with finials to the corners.
There is further carving above the original bevelled glass doors. There is a decorative lock and key.
The interior can be fitted with adjustable shelves and / or hanging rails from front to back. There is a useful drawer
with decorative metal handles to the base of the armoire. As with all our wooden items it has been
fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
There are some very minor knocks and bumps but this is in keeping with its age c1900.
