FABULOUS ANTIQUE FRENCH LOUIS XVI STYLE PAINTED
DOUBLE ARMOIRE - C1890

This fabulous quality antique French painted double door armoire dates from around 1890.
Painted in Farrow and Ball 'Farrows Cream' and given a dark wax finish.
This armoire has some exceptionally decorative features including a carved crest
to the top with a ribbon and bow, a plaque and leaves. There are two carved finials to the corners.
Wonderfully detailed carving throughout. With ornate brass lock and metal handles to the drawers.
The original bevelled glass mirrored doors have are in excellent condition
and have carved swags of flowers to the top. The interior consists of a range of shelving and hanging rails.
There are drawers to the exterior base. As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a
woodworm preventative as a matter of course. There are some minor knocks and bumps
but this is in keeping with its age c1890.

The measurements are 51 1/2" (131cms) wide x 98 1/2" (250cms) tall x 20 1/2" (52cms) deep.
