Exceptional Quality Old French Carved Extending Dining Table

This is a large, wonderful quality, solid walnut carved old French extending dining table.
The two leaves at each end draw out to extend neatly. The patterned top and leaves are
constructed of the same good quality wood of the table. The base and legs have been
given a limed wax finish and have been sealed to give a water resistant finish.
The front skirt and legs of the table have carved shells in the centres with cabriolle legs,
decorative carving to the tops of the legs and 'escargot' feet.
The table has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course
and is In excellent strong and sturdy condition with some minor knocks in keeping with its age.

This is one of the larger tables we find in this style and will seat approx 10-12 people.

Measurements 155cm long not extended (268cm extended) x 95cm deep x 76 tall.
