STYLISH VINTAGE FRENCH LOUIS XV STYLE CAPITONE DOUBLE BED

This original vintage French Louis XV capitone demi-corbeille double bed is in its 'as found' condition.
The wooden frame is in excellent condition with decorative shape and carving to the head and foot.
In very tapestry floral fabric but is being sold for re-upholstery. There is some wear to the inside
of the footboard as shown in the pictures. The bed can be easily re-upholstered - please ask for details.
The frame is in strong and sturdy condition with just very minor knocks and bumps in keep with its age.

Dimensions: The bed will require a standard double mattress 135cm wide x 190cm long.
Alternatively the bed can have a custom size mattress with curved foot end - which we can supply.

Overall Dimensions : 149cm wide x 195cm long.
The headboard is 120cm tall and the foot board is 72cm tall
