BEAUTIFUL OLD FRENCH LOUIS XV STYLE DAYBED

This beautifully carved and good quality scroll ended daybed is in its 'as found' excellent condition.
The pink velvet fabric would benefit from re-upholstery and can easily be done in your choice of fabric - please ask for a quote.
The frame has a wonderful rich patina and has superb carving featuring flowers leaves shells and scrolls.
The sidebars are also carved to match and each has a carved central foot.
The side bar which would face into the room is also upholstered and the bed would look great with
an upholstered base and mattress.
The bed has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
In excellent strong an sturdy condition with minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

Will require a custom small single mattress 80cm x 190cm mattress - which we can supply.
External measurements are approx. 90cm wide x 210cm long
