BEAUTIFUL FRENCH ANTIQUE PAINTED LOUIS XV ROCOCO STYLE DOUBLE BED c1890

This beautiful, superb quality French antique painted rococo style double bed has been painted
Farrow and Ball 'Elephant's Breath' with 'All White' highlights, lightly distressed and given a soft wax finish.
With wonderful carving featuring a shells with flowers and leaves to the headboard
with a shell and scrolls to the foot.
There is further decorative carving to the to the legs and side bars with escargot feet.
As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course. The bed is in good, strong and sturdy condition in keeping with its age c1890.

Will require a standard 4 ft 6" x 6ft 3" (135cms x 190cms) double mattress.
Overall width 156cm overall length 209cm.
Headboard 137cm high footboard 90cm high

A custom made wooden slatted base is included.
