WONDERFUL FRENCH UPHOLSTERED DEMI-CORBEILLE DOUBLE BED

This lovely old French capitone demi corbeille double bed has a curved foot end with 3 panels.
The bed has a wonderful quality carved wooden frame featuring carved shells, leaves and flowers
to the head, foot and sidebars with shaped legs and 'escargot' feet. As with all beds of this age
there are just a few minor knocks and bumps to the frame in keeping with its age.
The floral silk patterned fabric is in its as found condition with slight fading and marks as shown
but could easily be reupholstered in a fabric of your choice if preferred - please enquire for
a competitive re-upholstery quote.
The bed frame is in superb condition with just a few minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

The bed will take a custom made double mattress which is 4ft 6 x 6ft 3 (135cms x 190cms)
- which we can supply.
Alternatively we can supply a custom mattress with a curved foot end..
The overall dimensions are as follows: 147cms wide x 200cms long.
The height of the head is 134cms. The height of the foot is 80cms tall.
