FABULOUS FRENCH ANTIQUE PAINTED LOUIS XVI STYLE
KINGSIZE BED

This fabulous French antique kingsize bed is in superb condition for its age c1900.
The bed is in its 'as found' original pale cream paintwork with green highlights which is
now distressed with age. There are handpainted flowers to the head with a wonderful carved
crest featuring a garland of roses, laurel leaves and ribboned bow.
There are fluted columns with torch finials to each corner.
A rare kingsize, the bed has some wonderful original features and a low foot end.
As with all our wooden items the bed has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course and is in strong and sturdy condition with just a few minor knocks
and bumps in keeping with its age.

The bed will take a kingsize mattress which is 5ft x 6ft 6 (150cms x 200cms).
Which we can supply. External width 160cms x length 213cms.

The bedding and base are not included in the price. We can supply a wooden slatted or
fabric covered made base and a competitively priced quality branded mattress
at no extra delivery cost within mainland England and Wales.
