RARE FRENCH ANTIQUE DAYBED
C. EARLY 19TH CENTURY

A rare find, this antique French Empire / Restauration period daybed dates from the early 19th century.
In its original wooden finish which has a warm patina the bed will be given a soft waxed finish.
With a carved urns with scroll ends to the head and foot with
turned flutted columns and legs which have further decorative carving.
The bed has its original upholstery which has now faded along with an upholstered base
which require re-upholstery - please ask for a competitive quote.
The bed has been fully treated with a woodworm
preventative as a matter of course and are in excellent strong and sturdy condition
with just a few very minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.
