BEAUTIFUL RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH PAINTED CANE
KINGSIZE BED

This beautiful French antique cane kingsize bed is in superb condition for its age c1900,
A rare kingsize, chateau quality bed, very heavy with has some wonderful original features.
The head and foot have panels which are carved with romantic symbols including a shells,
laurel leaves, ribbons, roses and torches. There are fluted columns with acorn finials to each corner.
The bed is in its 'as found' original pale green paintwork which is now lightly distressed with age.
As with all our wooden items the bed has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course and is in strong and sturdy condition with just a few minor knocks
and bumps in keeping with its age.

The bed will take a kingsize mattress which is 5ft x 6ft 6 (150cms x 199cms). Which we can supply.
External width 165cms x length 210cms.
The head measures 149cms tall and the foot measures 86cm tall.

The bedding and base are not included in the price. We can supply a wooden slatted or
fabric covered made base and a competitively priced quality branded mattress
at no extra delivery cost within mainland England and Wales.
