DECORATIVE VINTAGE FRENCH DEMI-CORBEILLE UPHOLSTERED DOUBLE BED

This lovely vintage French demi-corbeille capitone double bed has a shaped head
and a curved foot end. The bed has a beechwood frame which is is its 'as found' condition which
will be polished and given a soft wax finish. It has superb carved flower detail to the head
and legs with 'escargot' feet. We are offering the bed for sale for re-upholstery, however the blue
and gold velvet fabric patterned is in good condition with some wear - can easily be
re-upholstered in your choice of fabric (please ask for a quote).
The bed frame is in superb condition with just a few minor knocks and bumps.

The bed will require a custom mattress - 4ft 6 x 6ft 3 (135cms x 190cms) with rounded corners
at the foot end - which we can supply.
The external measurements: width 140cms. The head measures 129cms tall and the foot measures 67cms tall.

The bedding, base and mattress are not included in the price. However we are now stocking a range of bedlinen.
