This fabulous old French corbeille capitone double bed with curved head and foot
has a wooden frame in its original cream and gilded paintwork which is now naturally distressed with age.
It has superb gilded wood carved detail to the head, foot and legs with 'escargot' feet.
The upholstery has been removed to and can easily be re-uphosltered in your choice of fabric

The bed frame is in superb condition with just a few minor knocks and bumps.

The bed will require a standard double mattress which is 4ft 6 x 6ft 3 (135cms x 190cms).
External width 151cms x length 207cms.
The head measures 126 cms tall and the foot measures 67cms tall.

The bedding and base are not included in the price. However we are now stocking a range of bedlinen.
We can supply a wooden slatted or custom made base and a competitively priced quality branded mattress
at no extra delivery cost within mainland England and Wales.
