WONDERFUL ANTIQUE FRENCH CARVED DOUBLE BED

This is a wonderful example of French craftmanship, made of solid walnut,
featuring barley twist columns, floral carvings on the head and foot.
The head is topped with a pediment and three finials. with only minor knocks
and bumps commensurate with age.
The bed has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative
as a matter of course. The bed is in superb condition for its age c.1900.

The bed requires a 4ft 6 inches x 6ft 3 inch double mattress which we can supply.
Overall width: 58 1/2" (149cms) x Length: 79 1/2" (202cms)
Height of head: 65" (165cms). Height of foot 38 1/2" or (98cms.

The bedding base and mattress shown are not included in the sale.
