STUNNING FRENCH ANTIQUE PETITE LXVI STYLE CANE CHAISE

This wonderful 'as found' petite antique French cane chaise longue
is in the Louis XVI style and dates from around 1900
Originating from a small Chateau in the Loire valley region of France.
There is a carved ribbon with flowers and a flute at the top centre and the rest
of the frame is carved with leaves and scrolls. The legs are tapered
and fluted and also carved and are strong and sturdy. The main frame has double
canework and the single cane seat has been recaned at some point in its history.
This is a really good quality item and a rare find in such good condition.

In excellent strong and sturdy condition with some minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age c.1900.
