VERY PRETTY ANTIQUE FRENCH LOUIS XVI STYLE SOFA

This very pretty original antique French cane backed canape/sofa would look stunning in front of a window
with the light shining through the canework back.
It is in wonderful condition for its age with no damage to the canework, just a little distressing
of the original paintwork. The seat has been reupholstered in a grey silk fabric.
There are some lovely original features, including tapered fluted legs, carved flower decoration
in the corners under the cane back, elegant curved arms finished with roundels at the arm ends.
This item has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course.
In strong and sturdy condition with some minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.

It measures 109cms wide x 100cms tall (from floor to top of bow) x 50cms deep
x 46cms from floor to seat.
