RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH MARRIAGE ARMOIRE c1900

These items were presented to the bride and groom on their wedding day
and hold mementos of the day such as a posy from the bride's bouquet
and in this case the bride's tiara consisting of tiny waxed buds and a waxed bud earing
attached to the laurel wreath which the dove is carrying in its beak.
It is rare to find these marriage presentoires in the form of an armoire,
normally they are placed under glass domes.
This one is in excellent condition for its age, the gilded toleware decoration still being quite bright.

The dimensions are 37cms tall (14 1/2inches) x 22cms wide x 14cms deep.
