LARGE OLD FRENCH TAPESTRY - WOODLAND SCENE C1900

This good quality old French machine made tapestry depicts children playing in
a woodland, lakeside scene and is after a painting of the same by the artist Corot - woven
into the bottom edge of the tapestry are the words '"D' apres Corot".

The muted colours are predominantly beige, cream and green with tiny
splashes of pink. The tapestry is in excellent condition for its age.

It measures 56 inches wide x 43 inches long.
